Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in serving in any of the following areas, please contact Becki Majors or Natalie Mosley for more information (bmajors@clearcreekcoc.org or 877-6232).

Bible Class Teacher: A big part of growing a child’s faith happens on Sundays and Wednesdays in the age appropriate classrooms through 5th grade.  We ask for a minimum one year commitment for most classes.  This ensures continuity in teaching and relationship building.  Curriculum and multiple resources are provided and regularly updated.  Teacher training and coaching is provided regularly as well.  If you cannot make a long term commitment, quarterly and last minute substitutes are needed too.

Nursery Worker:   This is a safe environment available for parents to drop off their little ones during Sunday service.  Sound and video feed from the worship service is available.  In order to maintain a safe environment, at least four volunteers are needed on a weekly basis. A new schedule is mailed out at the beginning of each quarter.  Parents with children in this age bracket are encouraged to volunteer at least once per quarter.

Special Events:   For each event, volunteers are needed to help in various areas such as planning, serving food, or helping clean up afterwards.  Depending on the event two to 30+ people may be needed.

Wee Worship

-Leader:   Plan and prepare scheduled lesson provided, and pick up children at the rear of the auditorium when dismissed from main worship. Creativity and enthusiasm is a plus!

-Helper:   Assist leaders in picking up children,  attend to any child’s needs that may arise, take attendance, and clean area after children are dismissed.
