Special Events
Bike Parade: On the Wednesday night before the July 4 weekend, we dismiss bible classes early to watch the kids parade around the parking lot on their patriotically decorated bikes, wagons, tricycles, etc. This is another fun, family tradition we enjoy and invite others to join us.
Easter Egg Hunt: Each year a small team host a large egg hunt either at a family home or on the church grounds. It is always a fun event to invite friends and family.
Fall Festival: This family outreach event is around Halloween each year. There are games, food, trunk or treat, hayride, and lots of candy!
New Arrivals Day: At the beginning of each year, we recognize the newest additions to our church family over the course of the past year. A short ceremony is planned to introduce the new baby to the congregation and for the parents and congregation to pledge their commitment to help raise these new babes in the ways of the Lord. It is a very special and momentous occasion for these young families.
Summer JAM: A few days each summer are set aside for our biggest community outreach of the year. Usually, we host it in the evening and offer something parents as well. Each year there is more and more fun!
Young at Heart Banquet: A meal is provided and served by KFJ (3rd-5th graders) to any Clear Creek Church of Christ member over the age of 70. This event usually takes place around Valentine’s Day, so we can show our love to this generation.
