Joey Davis, Minister

Though a native of Defeated, Tennessee, Joey Davis's victorious life is a
polar opposite reflection of the name of the town where he grew up.  He also
lived in East Nashville and Mt. Juliet, Tennessee during his childhood.

In 1989, Joey earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management of Human
Resources from Trevecca University in Nashville, Tennessee.  His M. S. in
Ministry was earned at Southern Christian University in 1998.

A published author, Joey has inspired many through his book, Water to Wine,
Ordinary Stories of an Extraordinary God, published by 21st Century
Christian in 1996.  He has also been published in periodicals, commentaries
and collections of Christian Short Stores.

Joey has served churches in Goodlettsville, Joelton, Adams, and Mt. Juliet,
Tennessee before moving to Chattanooga.  Following a period away from his
work of ministry to pursue an engineering career with AT&T, he is returning
to serve as Pulpit Minister at Clear Creek.

Joey enjoys football, music, and reading mystery novels as hobbies, and
builds handmade acoustic guitars in his garage as therapy.

Joey has been married to Melissa Davis for 24 years.  Their union is blessed
with two children, Olivia, age 18 and Sawyer, age 15.
