Small Groups

Service Opportunities for Small Groups: Connect with our community face to face by service to others. Many opportunities are available. See the Small Group bulletin board in the office or call for more information.

Children's Ministry

Wednesdays in June: Summer JAM (VBS) Rome: Paul and the Underground Church:  For children three years old through fifth grade - step back in time at Rome, exploring the life of the apostle Paul and the underground church. Participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace; visit Paul while he’s under house arrest, and more.  Bring a friend to join you!

Sunday: Preschool time is designed so that the child stays for Bible class at 9:30 and Cradle Roll class, Nursery or Wee Worship at 10:45. Elementary classes offer the same topic at 9:30 and 10:45; so that the child can attend one class time and worship with parents the other time. 

Wednesday:  Bible Classes at 6:30pm.



Youth Ministry

May 5-7: High School River Retreat: For 9th-12th graders. To register and pay, go to youth page. 

May 31-June 3: Chattanooga Work Camp: Register now, details on youth page

JR Impact (June 16-19) and SR Impact (June 19-24) Register by April 30. For info, go to youth page.  

Sundays: Middle School & High School Youth groups: Meet at 10:45; worship at 9:30.

Wednesday: Youth groups meet in The Creek at 6:30 pm.

University Christian Mission & Young Adults

University Christian Mission: Monday Launch meetings at 6:00pm and small groups on campus through the week for college and young adults. For more info email universitychristianmission@gmail.com.

Women's Ministry 

Monday Ladies Group will resume in September.

Tuesday Morning Ladies Group: will resume Meets in the cafe at 10:00.

News & Events

The Path of a Disciple Stage Locator Survey: Adults are encouraged to go online to take the Stage Locator Survey mentioned in The Path of a Disciple sermon series.  If you cannot take the survey online, please contact the church office to get a paper copy.

Apr. 29:  Annual Inner City Catfish Dinner: This is a special fundraiser to support Inner City children and your donation makes it possible for them to attend summer camp, Vacation Bible School and participate in summer reading programs. Cost is a donation to Chattanooga Inner City Outreach (CICO). RSVP is needed NOW; sign up and show these children that we care and want them to know the love of Jesus. Dinner starts at 6:30 in the gym. 

May 31: Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU) is biblically based and teaches people how to handle money God’s way. The next nine-week course will start May 31, Wednesday, at 6:30 pm. To join the class or get more info, note your interest on an attendance card and place in the collection basket Sunday or contact the church office at office@clearcreekcoc.org. Cost is $99/couple.  

Serve: We are looking for people to serve our church family.  We need volunteers from Children’s ministry all the way to Praise Team.  Please pray about it and call the office to let us know where you want to serve.

Family News

We express sympathy to John and Joy Greathouse on the loss of his mother, Barbara Faye Greathouse, on April 17 in Rising Fawn,Georgia.

Pray for the one person or family you would like to get connected to God.  Find opportunities to invite your friends, neighbors and coworkers to a safe environment in our building or to an outside activity. Introduce them to our church family and show them the life-changing relationship we have in Jesus. If you’d like to know more, contact the church office.

Needed for Haiti Missions:  Large rolling suitcases with handles are needed for the Haiti Mission trips this summer.  If you have one you can donate, please call or bring to the church office.

Prayer Requests                       

Hazel Sanders had surgery for a fractured hip and is at Erlanger Hospital. (Care Group 3)

Marilyn Sisson, mother of Tammy Aulich, has gone home and is recovering. 

Ben Elliott had his gallbladder removed and is improving.  There was no malignancy. No visitors please. 

Digi Miller is recovering from surgery for a broken shoulder. Prayers are appreciated. (Care Group 3) 

Bridgett Chambers is home recovering from double knee replacement surgery. (Care Group 4)

Marcia Black is home and continues to improve. No visitors please, prayers and cards appreciated. (Care Group 5)

Imogene Allen, mother of Jackie Olson, has been moved to Soddy Daisy Healthcare, Room 114, and has begun physical therapy.  

Jim Berry is at Standifer Place Health Center, Room 871A, 2626 Walker Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421. 

Louise Benson is at Health Center at Standifer Place, Room 142B, 2626 Walker Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

Lost and Found:  Bibles, jackets, insulated cups, etc., if not where they were left, are in the church office and are periodically donated if unclaimed.  Check with the church office regarding lost money or jewelry.
