Mar. 25: King For A Day. Stories from Palm Sunday. One week before Easter, Christians around the world celebrate Palm Sunday as they remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, which began what is now known as the Holy Week. Of course, the story of Palm Sunday is much bigger than a man riding a donkey through the gates of a city, and as we scratch just below the surface and explore some of the stories surrounding this moment, we'll discover how Jesus was sending a BIG message to the people of Jerusalem, and ultimately, the world.

News & Events

Apr. 1: Join us for Easter Sunday! A special day when more people go to church to worship God and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. This is a great mission opportunity. Invite people who don’t have a church home to come and worship with you, and learn about the sacrifice of Jesus.  Get a Sit with Me card. Give it to a friend or neighbor as a special invitation to join you for worship!  Family photos will be taken starting at 9:00 am.

Mar. 28 & Apr. 4: No Wednesday Activities to give our volunteers and families time to refresh, refocus, and regroup. Whether in your home or your neighborhood, we encourage you to use this time to focus on putting God in the middle of your community.

Apr. 11: Poor Man's Beans and Cornbread Potluck at 5:30. Clear Creek will provide cornbread and beef hotdogs for children; you bring beans, greens and/or desserts. Bring a dish or two to share at 5:30, followed by Singing Night with adults, youth and elementary students in the Worship Center at 6:30.

Discipling Opportunities

If you are interested in learning more about Discipling Opportunities, go to www.clearcreekcoc.org/serve or contact the church office.

Available opportunities are:

Adult Small Group Leaders: Guide a community to connect with God and with each other, facilitate gatherings for your group and work to create a safe environment where relationships can be fostered and discipleship can take place.

Small Group Leader for 7th and 8th grade boys: Youth SGLs are the relational and discipling driving force of the ministry; walk with students week after week coaching them through Biblical application and mentoring them through life’s challenges.

Pre-k Teachers for three year olds and for four year olds: Have fun sharing Jesus with eager learners via ready-made lessons. Be part of a team that’s helping to shape disciples starting at an early age.

Elementary Small Group Leader for 3rd-5th Grades: Invest in the lives of children as you and other leaders share everyday life applications of the Bible’s teaching through serving and discussions.
