Service Opportunities for Small Groups: Connect with our community face to face by service to others. Many opportunities are available. 


Children   

2019 Summer Activities are available on the children's web page.

Sunday at 9:30 am: All preschool and elementary children's classes. At 10:45: Preschool Only, Nursery (birth to 2 years) and Wee Worship (3-4 years) in the preschool wing.  Parents can drop off preschool children at 9:30 for class and pick them up following worship if staying for Nursery/Wee Worship.  


Youth

Jul. 12-21: High School TREK registration is available.

News & Events


Now through April 14: The Gospel of Mark: Join us on this journey.  We are asking that each of you find a small group community to study with and come alongside our church family as we use Discovery Bible Study to learn what Mark’s gospel is saying about God, people, how we can apply it to our lives, and who we can share Jesus with.

Feb. 24:  Martin-Boyd Christian Home Worship at 3:00 pm lead by middle school youth group.   

United Marriage course: Sundays, Feb. 24-Apr. 14, 4:00-5:30 pm. Grow in your faith and your marriage! Through United, you and your spouse learn how to make your marriage all that God wants it to be. This enlightening course takes couples through a series of life lessons in Scripture to explore the spiritual and emotional elements of a lasting, loving relationship. Childcare will be provided if needed. Cost is $99 and will be led by Ken and Betty Mobley. Last chance to register online to reserve your spot!

We rejoice in the baptisms of Layla Smith and Alayna Custer at Winterfest on Feb. 16!

We rejoice in the baptism of Sam Glenn on Sunday, Feb. 17!

Pray for the one person or one family you would like to get connected to God. Find opportunities to invite your friends, neighbors, and coworkers to a safe environment in our building or to an outside activity. Introduce them to our church family and lead them to the life-changing relationship we have in Jesus. If you'd like to know more, contact the church office.

Prayer Requests  

Grant Majors, son of Eric & Becki Majors, diagnosed with ALM Leukemia has started round 1 of chemo.  Cards can be sent to:  Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, John Grant Majors, Room 6312, 2200 Children’s Way, Nashville, TN  37232

Donna Howard, niece of David Howard, her cancer has come back.  She is being treated with chemo to shrink the tumor and will then have surgery to remove it.  She is in the hospital due to effects of the chemo. Her address is 1006 Egret Court, Springhill, TN  37174. 

Ray Shirley is in Parkridge Hospital with lung cancer and will be moved to hospice next week. Visitors welcome.

Glenna Johnson has started chemo and requests prayers. (Care Group 4)

Bobby Golden has started radiation treatment for prostate cancer.  (Care Group 6). 

Denny Weir, brother-in-law of Wendy Henderson, has now gone to a rehab facility. He requests continued prayers. 

Amber Aubrey had surgery and is home recovering. Her address is 7623 Leather Market St., Houston, TX 77064. 

Robert Beasley is home with health issues. (Care Group 4) 

Betty Berry is at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center, room 708A, 331 Hinch Street, Spring City, TN 37381.

Elaine Stroud Edmonds is at The Rosewood of Ft. Oglethorpe (room 8), 14 Fort Town Dr., Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742.

Daryl Hubbard is at Martin-Boyd Christian Home, room 113 South, 6845 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN  37421.

Martha Brightwell is at Martin-Boyd Christian Home, room E-108.
