Beginning

You may know nothing more than to attend church and carry your Bible…that is okay, we are here to help you.  This is a very vulnerable time along your discipleship path. A key to growing at this point is being taught and modeled the new truths of the Christian faith you are experiencing.

SOME THOUGHTS AND QUESTIONS DURING THE BEGINNER STAGE:

  • Why do I need to go to church regularly?

  • I’ve been hurt by a lot of people, so it’s just me and God, I don’t need others.

  • If I pray and read my Bible will I be good enough?

  • I didn’t know the Bible said that.

WHAT NOW? HOW AM I SAVED?
God wants the gift of forgiveness and salvation for everyone.  This occurs when you believe and proclaim Christ as your Lord and Savior, come to repentance of your past sins, and have been baptized. Baptism is an obedient response to hearing the good news of Jesus and symbolizes making a break from sin and beginning life anew.
