Preparing for life with a double major in Bible and Psychology then Master’s work in Clinical Psychology, I thought I knew just where I was headed.  Little did I know that God would put a terrific spouse in my path then change the course entirely. While nearing completion of my Master’s he directed me into Youth Ministry in Kentucky where the nearest fellow Youth Minister was 2 hours away.  Now, 25 years later, Jana and I have ministered to hundreds of teens at our local congregations and thousands due to our connections with a number of national youth events.  He has not stilled the passion we share of seeing teens grow in the Lord nor the excitement of watching them mature into solid men and women of faith.  Several of our former teens and youth workers are now involved in ministry in some capacity. 

Hixson has allowed me to minister on a day to day basis with Jana Carol as a fellow minister and our sons, Caleb and Kidron have been greatly blessed by this body of believers.  I am very excited about what the future holds and thankful that God is using me to minister in spite of myself.
